The TENNANTS appear to have come from Bradford, settled in Holbeck and worked on the railways. Benjamin TENNANT married Mary Ann HOUGH at St John the Baptist, New Wortley on 2 Jan 1870.

Names of known children Florence b.1886 Wolverhampton, Charlotte b. 1888 Wolverhampton, Ellen b.1893 Wolverhampton,Hettie b.~1900 Hunslet and unknown female b.about 1904-6 Hunslet.
Ellen married James Evans 1915 Hunslet.
Thompson 1890s Leeds/Gledhow,Chapel Allerton Jo Crespin I am interested in anyone who is related to the Hopkins family. My Gr Gr Grandfather was Joseph Hopkins (originally from Manchester) living in Gledhow in 1901 census.
His son William married an Emily Thompson from Leeds in 1898 in the parish of St Agnes, Leeds.
They lived at Azalea Street and Compton View. I wondered if these streets still exist.

His father surname Thompson owned Thompson and Wilson engineering - I can't find the first name of this ancestor Thompson and Wilson engineering went bankrupt with the crash of Farrers Bank? we have a book and portrait of this man painted in 1875 by an artist called "Firth"

Richard Thompson Married 1720 in Rawdon and went to Idle after that. He did return to Rawdon
I am looking for the name of his wife and his birth and death dates. He had a brother John that I have no information on.
