Naylor 1800's Leeds Heather Brine I am looking for information about John William Naylor the co founder of Wellington foundry which later became Fairbairn Lawson. He was the cousin of Mary Jane Naylor b 1842 the daughter of John Naylor & Esther Denison. They lived at 5 Taylor Place, Holbeck, Leeds in 1851 and had 5 other children.
Naylor 1800's Leeds, Yorkshire Gail Nakayama Researching Charlotte Wilks (born Aug 12, 1879), daughter of George Wilkes and Eliza Steele. Siblings are William H (born abt 1866) and Priscilla (born abt 1870). George Wilks is son of Henry Wilks and Priscilla Naylor. Charlotte emigrated to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada abt 1890's.

Newton 1779 Farnley, Leeds Linda Newton Newton of Upper Moorside Farnley were boilermakers. The business was started by John Newton born in 1779 and his son Israel Newton carried on the business and moved it to Idle. The business Israel Newton and Sons Ltd is now run by Gordon who is the 6th generation. Any information would be useful but especially anything about John Newton.

Nock 1860-1950 Hunslet Ken Richardson I am seeking infomation on the Nock family living in the Hunslet area.My GreatGrandma Sarah Jane Richardson(nee Walmsley) is buried in a Nock Grave in Hunslet but I do not know what the connection is.

North 1870 - 1940 Batley/Leeds Simon Roberts Any information on a Herbert North and or his second wife Margaret Auty and his family who lived in Carlinghowe Hill, Batley around the 1900's would be much appreciated. Herbert was a onetime Mayor of Batley and had a business in Leeds called Brett North which was a furniture store.

She was the daughter of George Nowland by his second wife Mary Jane, formerly Pullan or Pulle(y)n, who came from Selby. George's parents were Lewis Nowland and Mary Ann, formerly Rothery. Does anyone have information about other members of the Nowland family in Leeds?

He lived 66 Gelderd Rd, New Morley and his parents were John Nussey (General Lab) and Mary Nussey (nee Webster). Mary Webster was a widow, maiden surname Pickard, her father was Joseph Pickard. James Henry NUSSEY was b. in Holbeck/Leeds -10 Porritt (or Parrit) Street, Holbeck. He was called Jack. John Nussey (b 14/10/1869 Mill Green- New Wortley parents were Charles Nussey and Mary Ann Nussey (nee Smith), they married at St Marks' Church/Woodhouse Leeds 30/08/1868. Charles father was John Nussey). Any information about their descendants is welcome.
