His parents were James Kaye and Ann Hudson born Eccleshill and Yeadon respectively, married in 1843. Arthur is believed to have drowned in the canal in Horsforth on a foggy night in about 1871.

John Keith I know John Keith was born in Dalkeith Scotland around 1800, spent much of his earlier career in Ireland (military ?) and subsequently settled in Leeds as a Livery Stable owner, to father Thomas Keith (born Leeds 1848). Subsequently the family moved to Doncaster attracted I suspect by the coal and rail boom 1880-1910. I am trying to fill in detail about their time in Leeds.
