Connecting Churches:

St Giles was built on land donated by Sir John Savile (His sheep are on the Leeds coat of arms) in 1626. St Giles was demolished in 1838. Before St Giles was a chapel of ease from Kirkstall Abbey. They also had another premises on Monkbridge Road
